join sites like hi5 n orkut. write the name of your skool in the communities search, n u might ur school community there. u might find people there u r lookin for, i found a friend after 5 yrs

If you want to find them online then try some community sites like orkut.com,gazzag.com,etc. There are many. You can also look up www.batchmates.com. I and my friends have personally used these sites to contact some of my old school friends, so I can safely say that they are very useful.
