Jesus was born in late September or early October during harvest season.

And sorry sweetie there is no Santa Claus, so I guess you won't get those Spiderman PJ's or the G I Joe with the Kung Foo Grip.

Historically speaking, Christ wasn't born on Christmas Day! (December 25th)

Shepherds would not be out around that time year as Tradition says. It is also not known how many wise men there were. Fact of the matter is The Catholic Church in order to convert pagans came to an agreement that it would be held during the Winter Solstice or Commemorate the Birth of Christ. It is a gesture of good will. Also St Nicholas the original Santa Claus was a real person just like St Valentine.

As hard as it may seem Jesus wasn't born on Dec. 25 as the other people have told you. His birth is a mystery as the bible never really says, but if you follow harvest seasons he would be born around march or may in the beginning of the spiring season.

On another note Santa IS a real character, around europe he was a Saint. Saint Nick ? get it. He was called a Saint by the people of his town for delivering presents during the Holiday season which oddly enough is Christmas day, but the date was chosen by the Church, but imagine if we didnt have the date set for the 25 ? or if jesus wasnt even born. CHRISTMAS as you would call it is actually a date in which the Pagen sun god is born (ex Apollo). So if Jesus wasn't born we'd all be dancing naked in the winter lol !

Actually, Christmas was randomly set on December 25th, often thought to have been set on that date to draw away from the Pagan seasonal ceremonies. Many respected sources have reconstructed scientific data to suggest it is more likely Jesus of Nazareth was born on a different day, possibly in April. Santa Clause is a fairly modern term based on Saint Nicolas, who gave small items to poor children.

You see, it happened like this.... Long ago, Jesus was born. But no one knows the exact day, so they chose December 25th. Now, NOT too long ago - but not recently - a man named Nicholas began to give children presents on Christmas Day. He was probably a Christen, so they called him a Saint because he was doing a very selfless act. Now I'm guessing Ol' St. Nick died and the kids still expected presents, so the families of the children began to give the kids presents, but they told them that St. Nick was still giving them presents (so the children wouldn't be confused). But these parents began to use "Santa" as a key to good behavior all year round. So you can guess the rest...

Sorry dude, but Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. It is just the day that was chosen by the early church to celebrate the birth of Christ. Mainly to take the place of pagan holidays to help with their conversion.

But be truthful. This isn't really a question but a slap at Christians.
