are short replies from proud Republicans, and the next five are lengthier replies from verbose Liberals (who don't identify by party necessarily.) What does this mean?

Yes, I have noticed. If you look at the demographics of who is more likely to be a Republican/Conservative vs Democrat/Liberal, you will see that a Lib is much more likely to hold a college degree and advanced degree, but a Repug is more likely to have not finished High School, or maybe hold only a high school diploma.

I've noticed that people tend to get "best answer" for offering support on race or political baiting questions.

MOST REPUBLICANS CAN GET THEIR POINT ACROSS IN JUST A FEW WORDS. YOU CAN TYPE ALL LINE YOU WANT BUT IF YOUR NOT SAYING ANYTHING WHAT IS THE USE JUST WAISTED TIME
