EVery pregnancy is different. Go to the DR just to be sure everything is ok, but i personally think it is. Just be thankful that you do feel so great. Also the first time around your body had never went through pregnancy so it may have been harder. Enjoy it while it lasts because by the end, you'll probably be ready to get that kid out!!!!!! LOL

Consider yourself lucky, get plenty of rest, eat nutritionally balanced meals, get prenatal care, take your vitamins, relax and enjoy being prego, even if you don't feel it yet. This is one of the greatest miracles of all, the creation of new life. Take in all the wonder and joy, because I promise there will be days latter on that you will need to rember back on thse times. Consider writing a journal about the experiance, so that you'll be able to remember, plus it will be a keepsake latter on when the little one grows up. I wish I had, althougth I did journal though the first year, I am trying to look back a play catch up now.

Actually it was completely opposite for me..... my 1rst pregnancy I didn't even know I was pregnant.... I had no symptoms and I was never sick....... this time however I am 12 weeks and I am sick everyday, when I eat I feel even worse, sometimes I feel like I can't move or I will get sick...... this time sucks!!!!! but other than being sick I still don't feel prego, but I had an ultrasound done 3 weeks ago, and so I know that there is a baby...... you will feel it soon enough!!!

I'm five weeks as well. I felt "prego" the day before my missed period. Could feel something growing in my uterus..crazy I know, BUT this is my second time around. I feel every change this time around. First pregnancy was smooth sailing, didn't even know I was pregnant, heard other women say they felt pregnant but I just couldn't understand it. I was about three months along before laying on my back one day I could feel the mass growing inside me..it was an amazing discovery.
Be happy you aren't having any discomfort or pain. I bet everything is just fine.
Congrats and good luck!
Enjoy this easy time in your pregnancy, it's bound to feel more 'real' soon enough!

when I was almost 5 weeks my hcg level was 8668. I am 6 weeks now. I have been feeling sick since day one. I guess it has alot to do on your hormone level. you will feel it eventually, and if you don't you are really lucky. Good luck with everything.

I know when you feel "good" during pregnancy it almost sets off alarms. We are all told how bad we should feel during pregnancy, but are never told that there is a chance some of us may feel actually good.
Also, all pregnancies are different, even with your own children. I don't think you can always compare your own pregnancies with each other.
Right now, take it easy and consider yourself lucky. The morning sickness and fatigue may hit you tomorrow!
Congratulations on your pregnancy.

i know what you mean! i am 6 weeks today, and i dont know that i "feel" preg. this is my first, so i have nothing to compare it to. maybe it wont hit me until i feel kicking. i have syptoms every now and then, but nothing major. i even took another test last night just to make sure it was still coming up positive!
however, since you have something to compare it to, i think you should see your dr if it is a serious concern. i mean, every pregnancy is supposedly different, but just to ease your mind. my best friend was preg recently for the 2nd time and just knew something wasn't right. she saw her dr and sure enough, he told her that she was going to lose it. she had just known it wasn't going to happen. she accepted it very well. i hope this isn't what i am experiencing, because i wouldn't ccept it so easily!
good luck, i hope everything is ok for both of us!

Every pregnancy is different, just count your lucky stars!
My first I was just a little naseated that's it. This one I'm sicker than a dog and tired all the time. I take two naps a day! :( My sister had no symptoms with her pregnancy. My mom said all of us were different too...
You must be one of the lucky few!

each pregnancy can be different. I don't think there is anything wrong but if your concerned u need to go to the doctor, also u need to get started with your prenatal care.

Go to the doctor. I don't think anything is wrong, but it is best to start prenatal care as soon as you know you're pregnant. Good luck!
