Finally! Everyone on here is always b*tching about smokers and how they are so horrible. It drives me nuts.

My sister smoked for 20 years. Six months ago, she lost 2/3 of her lung to lung cancer. She spent 6 months recuperating from surgery and chemotherapy. Until the cancer was discovered, she felt perfectly healthy. The doctor told her she was in great shape and she had "the heart of an athlete". After the surgery, she couldn't walk a block. It's been 8 months. So far, it appears they got it all, but the doctor told her it will be 5 years before she can be reasonably sure it won't recur. She may never regain the stamina she had before the surgery. She has not had a painfree day in those 8 months.
Enjoy your cigarettes.

Considering all of the health implications of secondhand smoke, it's really neither funny nor witty, and actually a little disgusting, to ask if anyone enjoyed yours.

My father in law is now having chemo & radation
5 days a week due to lung cancer
(Smoked 2-3 pks a day)
and mother in law (non-smoker) is now
dealing with having to get radation treatments due
due to her lungs are filled with cancer & she's having
a very hard time just breathing...
Bet your hoping & praying you end
up the same way...I know I am!

Damn Straight!
I'm not a smoker, but I can't stand this new nonsmoking initiative popping up all over the world. We're treating tobacco smokers like animals and completely ignoring that America's economy relied on tobacco for an uprising.
Banning Smoking is infringing on our rights and countless studies have proved second hand smoke is harmless. Would I whip them out? Yes, i would, however I loaned them to a friend at the moment so just take my word or google it for some studies.

i'm that mean old man who took your lighter away from you and tossed you out of my car in the snow for smoking on my turf.
and i've been working very hard for the past 56 years to earn the title of "weasel" i am so glad that i've finally arrived. (if you knew me you'd know it is true)

My parents smoke and I always sit outside with my mom and talk to her while she does and they have been doing it for 30 years and have gone to doctor to make sure they r healthy and they havent suffered from any of the symptoms of ciggarets.I firmly believe that some people just react differently to the nicitine.Its hard living in Washington now that they passed the law that you can only smoke in your home or feet away from a building.

Way to be an adult and notice that your nasty disgusting smoke is covering my kids lungs with tar. Its fine you want to smoke because your an adult but my kids are three and six months and that is not their choice so grow up and think about who you might be hurting. If you want to kill yourself slowly great for you but come on be respectful for at least the kids sakes??

Nah, what I enjoyed was delivering oxygen bottles to all the emphysema patients on my route. Oh I just drink in the fear and shame in their eyes as as they lay there gasping for breath and I gaze upon that indelible 'Stupid' label on their foreheads.

Girl I wasn't there, but I enjoyed it. People are crying about second hand smoke like it's the only darn thing out there killing you. PEOPLE WAKE UP AND SMELL THE SMOKE, THERE IS A WAR GOING ON IN THE MIDDLE EAST. There is SMOG in every corner of the earth. DID YOU GIVE UP YOUR CAR TODAY!! You go girl.
