My sons plays soccer, they had a game yesterday. He plays midfield. When he was dribbling around a defender and the defender slide tackled my son by accident, and when he slide tackled my son, he hit my sons ankle. he wore shin guards but his shin guards didnt cover his whole ankle. But they made it to the finals. And i am worried because he has been limping, and his ankle is really bruised. My husband thinks it looks like its broken, but i know my sons hasnt told us about it because he wants to play in the finals. i know im going to bring him to the doctors. But when he is aroud us he seems to walk on it fine. But when i see him walking down the hall he limps. I dont know how stupid he thinks we are to not notice his injury. But should he have told us first. because he has been on is foot for about 4 days. i bet he injured it more!

Think of it like this - it takes courage to acknowledge your weakness publically and seek help! Don't you agree? Your son is the same about his vulnerability. Wouldn't he be a little embarrassed that he got injured duing what he loves doing and what he is good at? Won't you approach him about his injury from this angle? On the plus side, if it really was broken, trust me, he wouldn't be walking on that leg!

My sons had their license for a lengthy time period now. Few months if i'm a house mom. So the point is, they under no circumstances drove the automobile and under no circumstances will till they get coverage. So my question is, do i really ought to operate both one in all them to my coverage? and if I do, do I even ought to pay? and if so, how a lot? ought to or not that's a similar as what i replaced into advised after I first requested about the cost of coverage? that's $500 funds a month for both.

I wouldn't wait any longer and take him to the ER. I agree with your husband-that ankle may be broken. I've seen people with a broken bone in the ankle who are still able to walk although with difficulty and pain.

if he is still putting weight on it, it isn't broken. you didn't say how old he is, but YOU are the parent. make the decision for him. if it's sprained, etc, it will only become worse, and can lead to arthritis years later. he has plenty of time to play soccer. children can be prideful sometimes, and it sounds like he is just trying to play it off. he could have injured it more just by walking on it. what does his coach say? he needs to know too.

Who's the parent and who's the child? Children can't make the right decision all the time and that what mom and dad are for. Take him to the Dr. regardless of whether he whines about it. This could be serious and affect him for the rest of his life.
