GOOGLE: ProLife or ProChoice?

Question

anybody know if Google is ProLife, ProChoice, or Neutral? While we're at it, what about Microsoft, Dell, Intel, AMD, or Walmart?

1: You're right, Leah, they don't always put out papers, but you can tell by the groups they support.

2: Arus: yes they can have opinions and choose sides. ie.: Ford is pro-gay, and Walmart WAS pro-gay, until they decided to be neutral. I'm just trying to figure out the stands on abortion.

I would think they are neutral. How can you tell? They don't put out opinion papers or make public statements about the issue, so I really can't see how you can tell.

Oh please! Wal-Mart wasn't 'pro-gay' and they didn't decide to be neutral. Instead of simply reading what the right wing activists print, go look up the actual sources. The AFA complained about Wal-Mart because they signed up for membership of a Lesbian and Gay Chamber of Commerce. That organization is about promoting trade between companies - it has NOTHING to do with gay rights outside of the work place, or gay marriage. Most news organizations covered the FACTS of this case, if you want to look.

Take a detailed look at Ford's spending on public charities and other organizations - you'll see they spend their money on organizations that benefit society as a whole - and yes, some are gay oriented organizations. They also advertise in gay magazines - as do many other car firms; they all recognize that generally gays and lesbians do not have kids, so have more disposable income. A company spends advertising dollars where it might actually sell something.

I'm tired of people simply believing newsletters they receive from political or activist groups on both sides unquestioningly. You have to research what you read, or you will constantly be lead by the nose by people who have a particular agenda.
