Dave Vanian an old North Stars fan--who knew?
Fave memory was the '81 Final and the Dino the Dinosaur inflatable thingys the fans brought to the Met.
I think the Wild suck. Boring style of hockey under Lemaire. Sorry, does nothing for me. Open it up, baby, esp. with guys like Rolston, Gaborik and Demitra!

Memory: 1991 Stanley Cup Finals (of course)

Player: Dino Ciccarelli (preferably without pants in is driveway)

As for the Wild, I think they are on their way to being a very good team. The did make the playoffs too quickly, though. It made the fans think that every year would be a playoff year. The NHL has lots of playoff spots, but the Wild are still an expansion team. This year _should_ be different though. That is, if Gaborik's groin ever heals.

Hey my favorite memory was of their '91 Stanley Cup Finals too, oh wait I'm a Penguins fan opps guess I shouldn't have brought that up. Seriously though I thought it was a shame to see them move to Dallas, and I'm going to be more upset if our team leaves but I understand the feeling. The Wild's name sucks. I mean the North Stars, although doesn't make alot of sense to a connection to hockey, was a great name.

My favorite North Star memory: Whenever the Blackhawks came to town and the North Stars fans would chant, "Secord sucks".

fave memory: playing on guts and passion and not so much talent and working the heavily-favored blackhawks in the '91 playoffs and giving lemieux and the penguins a run for their money in the finals. great playoff run.

Every time I go to Mall of America I look across to where IKEA is now and think of the North Stars. I live in Illinois now and people think it is weird that my high school had a hockey team. Most of them don't even skate!

My favorite North Star moment was when the Bruins took John Casey!

The wild are okay, but nothing of the mystique of the old 'soter stars!
