Vitex is not the same as a birth control pill. IOW, you don't need to give your body "time off" in order to have your period. Vitex is an herbal supplement that helps to get your hormones in balance, and you are supposed to take it every day until you get pregnant.

I took V for ten months straight when I was TTC my third child because I had had an IUD removed and was not ovulating at all. The supplement took some time, but I was thankful I used it. It is much gentler than synthetic hormones (Clomid, anyone?). If you need more info, there should be plenty of resources on line, or the package insert should at the very least give dosing instructions.

HTH and good luck with that baby dancing!

just keep taking it - the more you have it - the better your cycles will be and will regualte you - if you keep stop starting - it will take a while to start working again.
dont worry if you miss a few days - just take it when you remember
