I DO NOT LIKE BUSH! I do not like anything he stands for, I do not like the lies he tells, I did not like his use of political strings to avoid going to Vietnam, which to me makes is an oxymoron for him to be the Commander-In-Chief. I consider him only to be another cheap but very rich politician.

No.
1) He's not particularly well-qualified to be President. He seemed to inherit the office rather than earn it.
2) If he had won the popular vote as well as the Electoral College, his claim on the White House would have seemed at least a little bit more legitimate.
3) When he asked for the injunction to stop the re-counts in Florida and he claimed that the method of counting ballots was a violation of the Equal Protection Clause, my fist slammed my forehead and I knew then and there that I wouldn't be voting for him again.

Yes, I think his policies are being hindered by leftists. Not that I think all of his policies are great, I just think it is far over exaggerated how bad they really are. I don't know about the war, but there seems to be new reasons to be there emerging often. The presidents who seem the worst in office often turn out to be great when looked upon later by historians. Also, there's a lot of classified information on the middle east that citizens don't know about, which Bush is trying to cover. I think that later on, when that information is revealed, we'll be able to undestand exactly why we were there.
In other respects, I think he has good moral values, but I also think he's failed to uphold them. I don't strongly approve of Bush, but between liking him or disliking him, I would say I like him.

No, I don't like Bush.
This question & answer thread, however, has degenerated tonight into how many people can I get to thumbs up my response that I like Bush and thumbs down any number of what some numnums consider pejorative words, like Liberal, Democrat, Socialist, Progressive. There has to be balance with all those things, and I thank God as a religious Liberal man that the Republican party has become more socially liberal and more reasonable with efforts to break multi-generational poverty.

Yes, I like him. I think he is a good leader. He is brave, and is not afraid to make difficult decisions and take action that is best for our country even if it is not the most popular action.

no. and the paradox here is that my oldest granddaughter got her picture taken with him when he was running for the second term.
he cannot believe the drivel he's been giving us for the past half-dozen years. so he's been lying and he thinks the American people are mindless idiots.
