when a woman ovulates if the egg is not fertilized, then the lining that is there in case it gets fertilized (think of it as a cushion for a baby) comes out and thats ur period.

The idea is so that your body prepares itself to have a baby if everything works right.
If there's no mating, the unfertilized egg and lining shed. That's your period.

well they get periods so some day they can have kids. its just part of becoming a woman. its a pain alot of the time but once you get use to its not that bad you learn to get threw them

you no what if it is for only having a baby then why cant we just not have a period and just have our reproductive eggs floatin around in our body i mean there is no point to it??

in gods eyes it all goes back to adam and eve. in a doctors eyes its a way to cleanse your body after ovulation.
