Was raised a Seventh Day Adventist. Despite being out of the Church for several years I never stopped believing and was rebaptized back into the Church several years ago.
Papa John, I think that the people who give a thumbs down on these type of questions either are nonbelievers or don't approve of organized religion or religion at all and it could be that they just don't have anything else to do and are doing it out of boredom. That's my guess. It could be for any reason.

Forget religion. It's not about religion, but about relationship. The question I have for you is do you have one with your maker? If you don't know Him pick up a modern version of the bible and find out about Him.

I'm baffled why people would give someone a thumbs down for stating their religious affiliation. If someone asked what ethnic group we belonged to and someone answered caucasian, would you give them a thumbs down? Anyway, I'm a Christian and I attend a Baptist church.

I am a Christian but I don't want to be categorized as one per-se. I consider myself to not be conventional. The conventional Christians really do get on my nerves sometimes but I can understand that they are attempting to do what is right and I respect them for their effort although I do strive to get them to change their approach.
What is yours?
