Just bought a used Dell Photo Printer 720 and there are no drivers available for Macintosh!!! Aaahhh!! What should I do. Did I just buy a useless printer??? Please give me some good news!!

You got your wish good news. macintosh computers can become compatible with some printers depending on the cords used and other things. question one is what type of cord is the cord runing from the printer to the computer. if its a recangle without anylittle thin needle like things coming our from it at the end then good. this is called a USB. if it is call apple and they will walk you through the rest, hope this helps. brodster.

NO...the 720 only runs on 2000 & XP!

Lexmark, who makes Dell Printers, has boatloads of other printers that run on Mac!

Start at their site for ideas...

If you are desperate, I could trade your 720 for a Lexmark that you would swear is the same (but runs on Mac also!) OS 8, OS 9 & OS X (10)

Also 98, Me, 2K, XP, & Server 2003
