Analisa is a pretty name. It is exotic sounding with a bit of aristocracy to it. Keep it.

Analisa sounds pretty cool to me! And I do NOT think it looks like "Anal Lisa".
My mom had to change my sister's name because the hospital messed up. They had her middle name on her birth certificate as "Glenn" instead of what my mom really wanted. Apparently someone wasn't paying attention and copied my dad's middle name. She still had to fill out lots of paperwork, but as long as it was within two months she didn't have to pay anything. That was in Louisiana, though ... your state might be different.
If she'd waited, she would have just had to pay a small court fee to get the judge's order.
I don't think there's anything wrong with changing a baby's name ... I mean, she's not really old enough to know it. It might be better if it was something that sounds similar or at least starts with the same letter.
Here's some others that start with AN:
Ana
Anabel
Anahi
Anais
Anastasia
Anaya
Andrea
Angel
Angela
Angelica
Angelina
Angelique
Angie
Anissa
Anita
Aniya
Annika
Ansley
Antonia
Anya
Do any of those appeal to you?
Anyway, it's not hard to do. The hospital where she was born can tell you what the laws in your state are.
Oh, yeah, I forgot to say ... I think the one that fits those characteristics best is Anais or Anaya. And if you name her Anaya and she turns out to be peppy and cute she can tell everyone to call her Annie ... but if she's a melodramatic and moody teenager she can switch over to Anaya ... it's kind of intellectual and unique. When she's older Anaya would also sound elegant and upper-class, I think. Anais would work the same way ... when she's a little bouncy thing with pigtails she can be Ana but when she's a teenager writing poetry she can be Anais.

You're in a pickle huh?? I would first off suggest that if you're going to change the name do it soon.. It's not horrible to change the name. I do think that Analisa is a beautiful name!! I've always liked the name Emma, but that seems to be more suited for light haired girls.. Kirsten is a pretty name... Good luck to you

I thinks its a beautiful girls name. You can call her Ana or Lisa or Liz or Analisa. Maybe the first name spelling is a little off, I would have put another N in the name Annalisa.

I really like the name. I find that it's bad joo-joo to change a baby's name after you have decided on it. I think it will grow on you... you must have liked it enough to name her it in the first place.
If Analisa hates it when she's older, she can make the decision to change it.

I named my first little girl Analissa Leilani.
Don't change her name. I bet she looks like an Analisa? Doesn't she?
There are very very few that have that name.

I think you should leave it the same one reason is because it is unique and another reason is because it is a very pretty name! I think when she is older she will like her name a lot and appreciate that you put some thought into naming her with such a unique name and not just picking a regular name like Jane! Have a Merry Christmas!

you can change it at any time but you need a court order to do it, you can get more info from the place where you would get birth certificate. i think that Analisa is a nice name tho, but i have always loved the name Raya.
