DOes this make sence to you? I had a frend tell me this the other week. If you are already married then wont that come first? I guess what they are tring to say is that after you get divorced that you will again be married (but to adifferent person). who comes up with these saings?! I thoaght about it 4 times but it don't make no sence to me! Help!

My husband and I were both divorced when we met. He had been single for 13 years and I had been single about 5 months.
We were married today. So I guess it must be true. My theory is that there was nothing bad about marriage itself - we were just married to the wrong people. Now that we have found the right person who will be with us for the rest of our lives, marriage is not so bad an idea.

This are statistics:
About 50% of first marriages for men under age 45 may end in
divorce, and between 44 and 52% of women's first marriages
may end in divorce for these age groups. The main reason for the divorce in this group is fighting about money.
75% of all divorced people re-marry as you said to a differentperson, half of them within three years.

Most people get into a rebound relationship after a divorce, before they've had time to work through their issues and heal.... and so get married again too quickly. Of course, these marriages have even less chance of lasting than first-time marriages do.
It makes perfect sense to me.

They used to say that 50% of marriages end in divorce. Unfortunately there is a lot of divorce, but you don't have to be a statistic. let's change things!

well, it is tough going thru' a divorce
so to hide from it all
they get married again
just to go thru' divorce again
