can u keep your old cellphone and change services? like i have a sprint phone but want to change to cingular. can i keep my sprint phone or do i need to buy a new one?

Thank God you are switching from sprint. Sprint has the worst network. It is a down right lie if they tell you other wise. Sprint also has the worst customer service. IF anyone is thinking about going with sprint change your mind!

Sprint phones are locked, which basicly means you can't take the phone to another company. I don't know why but if you leave sprint they make you buy a new phone with the other company. The only thing you can take with you from sprint is your number

it depends some phones are not compatible with all networks i suggest u get a new deal cos cingular has a lot of deals u can choose from

most new fones have a chip in the back that are acanned in the store were you buy it if you can find a chip from what ever servise you whant then you can do it
