It's funny how the Republicans go on all day about how awful Liberals are, bashing them constantly, on here and even a President doing the same. Shameful. Then once the tide turned, and he learned he had to play friendly, that's when the Democrats were ok again.
When did winning an election or being able to put your own agenda into place mean that you should gloat and put down your adversary? How about a handshake and some sportsmanship? I'm sorry that some college kids interrupted. That was inappropriate, but here's the liberal institution's response.

Liberals almost never try to stop free speech. You must be talking about those far-left radicals whose political equals in the 60's at least still believed in truth in labeling. Now they try to pass themselves off as progressive liberals when there's nothing liberal about their thinking at all.

Those college liberals will graduate, get high paying jobs, and half of them will become Republicans. They'll just say, "Oh, that was during my college days, I didn't know any better."

basing your ideas of the actions of the few and not the many?
by your logic I could easily say... why do right wing religious conservatives blow up abortion centers... why do conservative senators molest little boys... why do christian pastors do meth and have gay sex?
but, I don't do that... because I know better...
so to answer your question... the VAST, VAST, VAST MAJORITY clearly do not do this... and young Republicans have many guest speakers every day all across the nation without incident...

I sense you may be referring to the Columbia incident. And it was shameful in my opinion. Causing a ruckus to remove the free speech of another is wrong and I don't give a rats a** WHO it is.
