I would say no. There is little proof that you legally own the material in one form, nor that the person you are downloading it from legally owns the material. You're much better off not touching or downloading any copywritten content off of the internet unless you have purchased it directly (like a song from itunes).

it does not matter you own the DVD or not when you download the movies from LIME WIRE it is illigal.
but no one cares about it, so i think go ahead and do it.... thas the only way you can get the videos....lol

it is still illegal
have you tried uploading the video to youtube, or itunes, its also possible that you are not able to upload it to your ipod, because they want you to only buy their moveis
