Bad news to break to you: No, you can't. It is called the burned in image. Caused by leaving the monitor on for extended periods. This is why they came up with screensaver. You should have had this installed to save your monitor.

Anyway, nothing can be done about this now. But for next time around, when you buy your new monitor install a saver.

Hi. Nightrider is correct. If the image stays there when your PC in displaying something else you have burned out the phosphors. If you can live with it, do so, while saving for an LCD display. These do not burn in.
