I'd wait maybe a week and sell it. If you wait too long, you could run into a buyer that hassles you or another of a host of other possible snafu's.
My mom sells books online and other stuff over eBay as a living, things can get messed up. If it's too late and something goes wrong, you might not be able to auction and ship in time for Christmas and you might get a lower price because of that.
I'd say it's better to play it a little safe.

Wait for a couple of days before Christmas when a the fathers who forgot to get presents for there children go shoping.

in a few days lyou should because ifits too close to christmas then most probally already bought the gifts they wanted to give . I say to sell it now before its to late.
