Midgets are people with heights below 5 feet.

According to Wikipedia, giants are at least 7 feet 6 inches tall.

Therefore, the difference in height is 2 feet 6 inches.

it depends on how tall or short the person you are asking is?
i'm 5ft4in and to me a midget is anyone under 4ft when in adulthood except for people with dwarfism, so not many midgets about. A giant to me would be anyone over 7ft, boyf is 6 ft and have to look up to him but wouldn't say he was giant.
