I work for T-Mobile as a sales rep on the weekends, so to answer you question, you can. Pre-paid phones per minute are usually more expensive than a post-paid plan. As far as phones, you could go through T-Mobile.com but I'm pretty sure there are better deals of pre-paid phones through other sites believe it or not. Just go to cellufinder.com and click T-mobile phones and you'll get a nice link for what you're looking for.
