Eventually, everyone gets "taken out" no matter how good they are. But I don't think Bush is the guy to do it, and I don't think it's going to happen for a very long time. Reggie bush is doing well in his first year, but LT's first year was phenomenal 1200+ rushing yards 360+ recieving yards and 10TDs behind what was at the time the worst O-line in football. Reggie has a ton of talent, but it's going to be difficult for him to make it as a premier back in the nfl, the Saints are doing the right thing having him split time. He just doesn't have the size necessary to run effectively between the tackles in the nfl. If they were to make him an every down back like LT he would not only not be very effective, but he would get injured. Reggie is great at what Reggie does, but at 6ft 200lbs he's never going to be a workhorse, that's the reality.

LT brings a lot of facets to his position as running back. For example, he has a better passing record than many QBs and has an overall passing rating for the last five years of 152.1. He is also ranked number 1 RB by all the sports analysts going into week 13. He has in at least one game been able to run, catch and throw a touchdown. He has 24 TDs this year and will probably beat Alexander's record by the end of the year if he stays healthy. I'd say Reggie Bush has a long way to go before he reaches that ability.

Eventually all the best at the moment running backs, Qb's, wr's and every other position gets taken out be it from injury or just deminished performance from years of abuse some just stay on top longer than others. If your asking if we think LT will be bettered by bush next season id say not likely from what i have seen from bush he has a while before he is great. However don't be surprised if LJ takes the front spot next season.

You just never know until it happens. Just look at the other GREAT saints rookie...Colston (most catches and yards on the team and almost the most in the NFL) but he went down with a sprained ankle. He missed almost 2 full games because of it. Anything can happen during any game that can ruin your season and possibly your career. If Bush stays healthy then he could possibly be one of the greatest.

It's way too early in Reggie Bush's career to say he could possibly be as good as LT.
They both run the ball the same way and are very versitile backs, so as of now I would say Reggie Bush has LT type skills, but Bush has a long way to go to polish them as sharp as LT has.

LT, aka the most electrifying player in the NFL, will not be going anywhere soon. I am excitied to see where Bush goes in the future of the NFL. I want to see if the Saints are going to waste his talent or let it shine. But LT is here to stay...

L.T. is in his stride...in the zone.
Watch Frank Gore, he's going to be wonderful if they can get an O-line set up for him other than Larry Allen. (Go Sonoma State!)
