Do you know of a musical theatre song that is in the tenor/baritone range about a guy who loves someone that doesn't love him back?

Put your parameters into http://www.musicaltheatreaudition.com/smdb/index.html

or go this this site http://www.musicalnotesnmore.com/
The end of each musical description has a section called "Song of Special Interest" and will say something like, "Tenor solo, John sings about how much he loves Jenny, even though he knows she doesn't love him" or something like that. Try doing EDIT--FIND ON THIS PAGE and put in "tenor solo" of "baritone solo", then read the descriptions about each song.

You can get clips of most songs just to get a feel for them at amazon.com

A musical entitled "Maggie Flynn" the song is "Why Can't I Walk Away." It is a classically written tenor ballad and has the benefit of not being done a lot. Always a plus if you are using it as an audition song.

One of my favorites that might fit the bill is "Who can I turn to" from The Roar of the Greaspaint, the Smell of the Crowd" by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse.

That's a pretty common theme, though, there should be lots of choices!
