After the Sep 9/11 bombings, there hasn't been a single day when you don't hear that people have died somewhere due to bombings. It does get depressing and you wonder when it's all going to stop. I still can watch the news, but the world does seem to be getting worse everyday. It's just scary.

After sept 11, and after the war began, I would not watch the news for at least 6 mnths or more. Everytime 6:30 came for the nightly news, I made sure i turned the t.v. It was getting too scary.

What i find depressing about it is how absolutely terrible the media is in covering important issues and holding politicians feet the fire. They also just let guests smear other people and don't challenge their BS

I think the media has to share with us ALL of what's going on but they should find more positive stories in the community. Its the community that makes a family you know :)

I can't watch it either. With all the death and corruption in the world, it's hard to watch it and NOT be depressed.

yeah its pretty bad I cried when I heard about the mother who killed her little baby by putting it in the microwave. it is truly a heartbreaking world where the innocent are paying for our self centered sins with their suffering and their lives
