There are so many causes for swollen throat glands that it's impossible to diagnose them like this.
You should really have your throat examined by a doctor and get a professional diagnosis. If you don't, you could treat symptoms, but not cure the underlaying sickness. Whatever it is could get worse and be possibly life-threatening.
All that said, there *are* home remedies for the soreness, heat, and pain of swollen glands. The simplest is gargling with warm salt water, and works surprisingly well to loosen phlegm and ease the soreness. An over the counter remedy like Choloroseptic spray will numb your throat. There's always the home remedy of hot lemon juice and honey with a bit of brandy added. Drinking lots of tea, and taking an aspirin or tylenol to reduce the swelling helps.
And my mom's favorite; put a hot, wet washcloth on your throat.
