because nobody wants friends who are more attractive than themselve, right? i dont want friends who are prettier then me.

I think the human feeling of envy is what your talking about. Almost everyone is self-consious about something and I don't believe that it should stop you from having friends.

Nobody is prettier than you! So that solves that possible issue. I don't think I'd mind having more attractive friends, What is attractive to some may be repulsive to others. The answer is NO- The human need not be happy with their appearance. The human must be happy with their conscience and soul.

It depends on your definition of attractive. Some of the most externally beautiful people I've met quickly became ugly because I got to know their personality of greed, jealously, and disrespect.

Beauty truly is from within.

It doesn't stop there. When you get older you won't want to hang with those who make more money than you. I guess when we hit 80 and 90 we won't want to hang with those who have a nice cane? Or better hip surgery? Or thicker glasses!

If you don't share similar tastes, where is the affinity?

Though I'm sure there are hot lepers here and there. The bond they share is alienation. There's no physical requirement for that pitiful class.

Why not? I hung around with the best looking guys, and picked up their cast-offs. I was happy with that..
