It doesn't sound like a serious issue. When you're at the doctor's sometime for something else, ask him to have a look. Almost for sure, it's normal. People do differ - maybe your friend has bigger ears or something too - doesn't mean one of you is abnormal. If it hurts, then make a special appointment with the doctor, though.

Don't listen to the incredibly shallow people who want you to destroy a huge proportion of YOUR lifelong sexual pleasure because THEY think it looks better! Be very thankful that your parents left you WHOLE.

It really depends. It could be just that your foreskin is longer or stretches more than your friends. Some people have longer foreskins that'll cover the entire glans even while erect, other do not. As long as you can pull it back comfortably to expose the entire head then everything's working normally.

If you're having difficulty pulling back the foreskin while erect, then you may have a condition called phimosis. If this is the case, it's generally easily remedied with stretching exercises in the majority of cases. Take two fingers and stretch the opening of the foreskin as far as it'll go without pain (like increasing its radius) by hooking a finger on either side of the opening. It's a little hard to describe and may take a few tries. Once you get the hang of it, do it fore a few minutes each day for a few weeks to a month. That's usually enough.

Again, as long as you can pull it back when erect then it's perfectly normal. If you're having difficulty, then try the exercise above. If that doesn't work, then perhaps see your doctor. There are many options in resolving this issue and it's rather minor as is anyway.

Just play with ya self & slowly try to bring it back - masterbate a bit/lot.

See a doctor if there is a problem.

Don't be worried if they recommend circumcision coz I had it done reluctantly at age 28 also for medical reasons. My EX girlfirend at the time was also reluctant I get it done. Well the benefits are little smell, no smegma, no pubes between foreskin though you sound like you don't really have that problem, I get more intense orgasms, I can pee straight being circed with no skin in the way, no foreskin in zips of jeans, last longer during sex
Oh yeah by the way the pain ain't THAT bad

My only regrets is not getting it done earlier & tighter as I have some loose skin at the base of the head

The question is: Can you pull your foreskin back (even when erect?) If so, it only means you have a larger foreskin than your friend. If you can't (too tight or painful) see a doctor. They can stretch it. If the problem persist after that, circumcision might be the answer. If it is not an absolute necessity to be circumsised..DON'T DO IT!!

when you are erect - for sex or masturbation - it is not good for the head to remain covered. You need the head to be in contact with her vagina, or her mouth or whatever.

A covered glans during sex is a real nuisance and deprive you of your natural pleasure and stimulation. Seriously consider circumcision,. I did mine in mid-thirties and it was best move I ever made. And I assure you - that though I wear tight cotton briefs, the sensation of the bare knob rubbing on the underwear was enjoyable, not at all unpleasant. but it lessened with time. but I love that tickling feeling in briefs. So that was never a problem and don't let that scare you.

I love the look and the feel. LOVE IT !!!!!

there are a couple of variables here...the foreskin is like a loop...it begins on the penis, extends down over the glans and loops back to cover the shaft of the penis...your 'loop' may be longer than his and thus it will not retract over the glans...or, you have a shorter penis and a longer 'loop' and therefore will not retract over the glans...
the other thing to mention is 'phimosis' and that is where the opening of the foreskin is still basically closed and will not stretch enough to slide over the glans...in that case, do not force it, because if it should 'slip' over the glans and you can not retract it back, it may do the tourniquet thing behind the glans and cut off the circulation. then you may wind up with an emergency circumcision.
do you masturbate? have you had the foreskin back past the glans before? does it always slide back when you are flaccid?
you really only need to see your doctor if there is a problem...and so far, you have not described one...
good luck..

My father was not circumsized and in his 70s had to have it done. At that age, and with other medical problems, it was a big issue. He also got infected after the surgery.... and it was horrible for him.

That happened because it eventually grew over his head enough to affect urination. If you are not pulling back normally, have a doctor examine you and advise you if you should be circumsized. You do not want to be doing it in your old age. It would be better to do it while you are young and otherwise healthy.

Best Wishes,

Sue

Not a problem at all.

The foreskin is there as a protection for the sensitive area. Why meddle with it when nature intents male to have foreskin. If one can keep it clean.... there's no need for circumcision at all. Circumcision is totally unnecessary and it's absurd.

Circumcision is similar to cutting off the ear. it's ridiculous.

Yes, I think you should, and probably I'd better for you to get circumcised.

Many girls think uncircumcised penises are gross and weird.

Circumcision has many benefits too, keep reading...

CIRCUMCISION IS VERY BENEFICIAL, its cleaner and several research bodies have concluded that circumcised men have less risk of contracting STD's such as AIDS-HIV or herpes.

Uncircumcised penises are difficult to keep clean, and more prone to infections and penile cancer, studies have shown.
A circumcised penis is naturally clean and virtually free from urinary infection. You will not have to worry again with careful washing of your penis.

About STD's:

As I said, several studies carried out by prestigious research bodies have concluded that uncircumcised penises are more prone to infections and contraction of STD's, including AIDS-HIV. Circumcised men have been proved to be up to seven times less likely to be infected than those who are uncircumcised. Have a look at this site: http://icuxbridge.icnetwork.co.uk/news/tm_objectid=14095142&method=full&siteid=53340&headline=-circumcision-protects-against-aids--name_page.html

As for women, studies also show that circumcision also protects female partners from AIDS-HIV and other STD's. Browse this article: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Press_releases/2006/02_08_06.html

About sensitivity of a circumcised penis:

No medical or physiological study has proved that circumcision reduces sensitivity, opposed to common belief. The American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) confirms this on their web site; have a look at: http://www.aap.org/pubed/zzzjzmemh4c.htm

Circumcision is an easy and nowadays painless procedure, which has many benefits, and virtually no risks.
Circumcision is NOT an amputation. Circumcision is NOT comparable at all to female circumcision, which is something completely different.

Circumcision rates are INCREASING nowadays, both in the United States and overseas. Many African and South American countries with little circumcision tradition are starting to promote the procedure to help to reduce the AIDS-HIV infection rates.

It's not a problem unless you are uncomfortable with this. You just have more foreskin than your friend does. Don't let the fact that the majority of men are circumsized and you aren't make you uncomfortable either. You are good just the way you are.
