I recently moved into a new house and there is terrible grease build up around the burners and parts of the microwave above the stove. I need help! No amount of scrubbing is getting the job done!!!

Eze Off Oven Cleaner makes a variety that is not fumey and not caustic to your hands. This stuff is great. I use it on my burners when i have a pot boil over or something gets burned on badly like under the stove top. Just spray it on and let it sit while you do the rest of the dishes. Then it just wipes off. It bubbles the stuff up like crazy.
It really does work. If this is not an option, then Comet and a wire scrubber is your only way out. sorry.

I use soft scrub and those little green scrubber pads. It works great. My stove looks brand new still by just keeping up on it a couple of times a week. I just worked on it today in fact. The sealed burner cooktops are the best. If it is too bad you might just want to buy a new stove.

Use Awesome from the Dollar Tree.. It cost's only a dollar and when used full strength it will eat through the grease like nothing..Spray it on and leave it for a while then come back and wipe off.

Don;t use oven cleaner, if there is aluminum trim it will be ruined . Don;t use ScotchBrite pads either they will scratch the porcelain finish . Use Fantastic Brand spray cleaner. Leave it on for 15 minutes and clean with a Brillo cleaning pad, it is hard work but you won;t damage the finish .Repeat if necessary

I just had the very same thing happen to me. I got angry and used WD40. It is a grease killer and didn't take a whole lot of elbow grease.

get a spray bottle, fill with white vineagar and spray. let it set on there for a while. if you can stand the smell, amonia will also do the trick, then wipe it down and scrub with brillo pads. good luck
