Xbox 360 problems? help!?

My xbox 360 freezes the first 10 to 15 minutes of each time a play a game. It just stops and makes a loud noise. Should I take it back and get a new one or what is this problem? Its also starting to scratch my games.

I have a 360 as well and I don't have those problems. Take it back. It's defective
