I knew a girl at school named Carrie and it was pronounced Carry (her middle name was Ann if you're interested ;))
I think Carrie Fisher (from star wars) was pronounced Carry also
I agree with babydoll that you decide on the pronounciation.
I would think Care-E would be Carey or maybe Kerry/Kerrie. Its a gorgeous name no matter which way you say it :)

Care-E sounds too forced. I would pronounce it Kerry. Its a nice name and people will pronounce it the way they pronounce it.

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. People may pronounce it differently depending on what part of the country they're from.

I think Carrie is supposed to sound like Mary rather than Marie. It is a cute girly name, either by itself or short for Caroline.

Either one is correct, like my name is Sarah but people often call me Searh or Sawah, or Sarrah.
Personally I say Kerry
