Why cant I use firefox and access Gmail??

The only reason I can figure is that you have your javascript turned off. I use firefox exclusively and have no problems with gmail.

To check your javascript setting go to tools > options > content tab and make sure that the box next to "Enable javascript" is checked.

I've encountered several problems with Firefox. I would recommend you uninstall it; when you do, G-Mail should work just fine.
