Sugar gliders are relatively quiet creatures. My pair occasionally bark at night. They tend to crab at my rather loudly if I disturb them during the day. Other than that, they don't make noise. having a quiet sugar glider is a blessing. You will smile and laugh when they bark the first time, but after 4 or 5 nights in a row of barking off and on for hours, it's not so cute anymore. But we love them. Good luck!

sugar gliders are naturally quiet creatures. they come from forests where silence is key if you want to survive. they make noises when they are: panicked, trying to contact others, or other great springs of emotion. it's natural for most rodents to not make lots of noise it's how they would survive in the wild.
