Okay... I'll get straight to the point. I have really big boobs... but that's not the point. Other than my boobs, they rest of me is normal- not too small, not too big- and it makes it reallly hard for me to find clothes that flatter me. Sometimes, I'll feel really uncomfertable showing a huge amount of cleavage... well actually it's most of the time, so I'd get regular crewneck shirts. But everytime I wear those shirts I feel suffocated because my boobs make my shirt tight around my diaphram. But I don't know what else there is!!!!!!!!! I need help with SOMEONE who can help me find a type of shirt that would be cute, but not overly sexy and boob showing... with that said... HELP!!!!!!

Let me preface this by saying that I'm a 36DD with a 32 inch waist and 42 inch hips. I feel your pain girl.

The best way I've learned to draw attention away from my bust is to buy V-neck shirts. Make sure they fit comfortably around your bust. You can always take them in around the waist and hips if needed. Crew necks tend to make upper bodies look like squares, while V-necks accentuate hourglass figures. If they fit and don't pull around the bust, you'll look pretty without showing a lot of cleavage. I work in an office full of men and I feel most comfortable when I wear a good bra, a camisole layered under a V-neck sweater or a V-neck shirt under a fitted jacket. Also, when buying pants, make sure they're straight leg and not tapered. That'll balance out your body. Skirts and dresses should be knee length and A-line shaped.

Make sure you're shopping in the misses' department as well. If the sizes are odd numbers, they're juniors and for girls who aren't endowed at all. Poor things...

Most importantly, get properly fitted for a good bra. I used to buy Victoria's Secret Body by Victoria, but they're rather limited once you get above D-cup. Sears and JCPenney's sell pretty bras in all sorts of sizes. Try some other department stores in your area until you find some you like. We can't wear itty bitty lacy bras, but the bigger ones are rather pretty these days.

I learned all of this while watching "What Not To Wear" on TLC. Awesome show.

Finally, stand tall. If anyone gives you any grief or harrassment over your chest, stand up for yourself. You are just as important as anyone else and deserve to be treat with respect too. Call on your true friends and family for back up as needed. Only ignorant and immature people make fun of others, and they're bravado is a facade.

I have two ideas for you. First, have you considered breast reduction surgery? I know 2 girls who had it at about age 20, and both are very happy with the results.

The second idea is for you to learn to sew, and make your own blouses.

I do agree that too much cleavage showing is not a good idea.
