How do i unconpress my C drive?
i accidently compressed my c drive please how can i uncompress??????? everything is gone or hidden please help

It would really depend on how it got compressed in the first place.

I know Partition Magic saved me one time, when I hid my drive.

But if you were just working in Windows, I would suggest you at least try the following method. If it does not work when performing a normal boot procedure, try booting up in Safe Mode.


> Go to My Computer
> Right-click on C: drive
> Select Properties
> Uncheck option: Compress drive to save disk space

If you have another computer, you can install the compressed drive in it and decompress it.

If you need a hand, find a savvy friend or see a professional. I'm in the yellow pages.

Sounds like you have further issues than just compressing your drive. We would need further information on how it got this way.
