I have long natural nails but I can never get them to be a nice shape. It sounds weird to go to a salon to trim and buff them without polish. Could anyone tell me or give me some good resources on how to make my nails shapely and even.

What I am ASKING is a step-by-step way of shaping (NOT buffing, NOT a manicure, NOT unrelated nail care) so that my nails will come out even.

that cant be expained here. you need practical training from a beautician.

u can use a filer. there are even filers that 3-in-1 which have buffers and stuff too. They're not that expensive...less than $1 and reusable. The three steps are smooth, file, and buff (i think). It really neat and easy too. Looks basically like a regular filer.
I hope this helped!
