This is going to be my first job ever. I want to get a job over winter vacation while school is out but I don't know where. I want a job where I can have some experience in my future career (computer programmer). Any suggestions? By the way, I am in 91316 area code in California.

Your not going to find anyone that hires you for pay in a very technical position. You might look for an internship, but they usually like you to be in college. Try applying at computer oriented businesses and companies, or even a help desk position at geek squad if they'll let you. Even if your receiving calls or giving out mail, you'll still have experience within that company.

Why do you only want a job for over Christmas break? No one will hire you if they know you only plan to work 2-3 weeks.
