Should our culture rid itself of fast food places?

Nope. They are getting so expensive the average person can't afford enough to get fat.

Yes and lack of exercise. Get rid of the Fast Food. It's a proven fact that since the fast food chains have come into Europe young people are gaining weight and over there they use a lot more public transit and walk.

In todays society we move in a very fast pace.Fast food places make our lives easier but not healthier.It is not the fast food places that make us fat.It is the fact that it is human nature to be somewhat lazy and because it is also a fast pace world we live in it just makes our lives easier.Therefore it is the individual that chooses to take the easy route by goin to the fast food restaraunts instead of making their own meals that actualy make us fat

No...you can go to the store and buy Ben & Jerry's ice cream and eat that all day and get fat. It is a choice to over eat any type of food.

No, Americans have no sense of control and no motivation to lose weight. Those who are interested would pack their lunches with them to work everyday and not have to rely on fast food. It's all a matter of determination

Lord yes! Not only are they greasy, they are expensive and addicting as well! I say ban them all or make the healthy things they are serving (they aren't that healthy anyway, but better than the rest on the menu) less expensive so they are more of a probability.
