Michael Jackson can do some wacky things but that man is legend known all around the world.
He recently went down in the WORLD BOOK OF RECORDS for being the most famous person in the world.

Yes, almost unfortunately for him he IS a legend....had he not been, he might have had the chance to lead a normal life. (and probably wouldn't even have dreamt about doing some of the wacko things he's done so far)
I DO like some of his "earlier" work, I mean the work beFORE he started feeling the need to grab his crotch in video's, (sorry, don't know how to put it more eloquent), and I think he's earned being a legend through his "early work".

I don't know if legend is the word. But given the milestones he represents, as you point out, and his artistic output, he is likely to be remembered.
He does have iconic form and movements so this can potentially live on for quite some time.
Unless the whole global warming thing has us all underwater. One can only pray on that score.

Yes I think so
I was just watching it - don't you think it's such a shame what he used to be & how he is now
I mean the skin lightening etc - I just feel gutted that he's 'ruined' himself, even though I'm not really a fan I just like some of his songs
I also think he's a very gentle, loving person however you hear these outrageous 'diva' demands he makes & about him wearing a face mask & you just don't know what to believe
Could it be he is mentally ill?

Being a legend isn't always a good thing. There's the Legend of Sleppy Hollow and the Legend of Lizzie Borden for example.

He went WAY too far with his "gay child molester" thing. THAT is the reason why I hate him... He should go die in a hole for the things he did to those poor kids. He paid off the jury, and now he will be able to roam free, living in his Neverland Ranch, molesting little boys until he dies!

Yes he is a legend. He will go down in history...for being a complete perv and getting away with it time after time.

true, but he would also make a good leg end. maybe in the future someone even richer than him will buy his dead body and use it to prop up the coffee table.
