What is the complete ending? Ruin the movie for me please

The main character (the boy) sees a bully that is picking on/beating up a "nerd" that is never left alone by bullies. He stands up for the kid and ends up getting stabbed! The film kind of goes into slow motion - the mother is at the school with the teacher/boyfriend and senses something is wrong. She goes to see what it is, and finds that her son is laying on the ground dying. Then they show them waiting in the hospital - and you just see the doctor telling the mom - you don't hear what he says. She freaks out! It is absolutely one of the biggest plot twists - VERY SAD!

At the end, it shows how the mother is DEVASTATED. It is so realistic. She is watching the news and sees a report about her son and how his idea, Pay it Forward, had reached the other side of the country. The media talked about him like a hero and someone who really made a difference in the world. The mom looks outside her window and people are coming from all over - walking, driving - with candles...paying tribute to her son.

WOW! I was BAWLING! VERY sad. Very inspiring, too, though.

God the movie makes me cry!

The little boy is stabbed during a fight at school and dies at the hospital. When his mom and the teacher go back to the house, a few minutes later people start pulling up with candles to mourn his loss. They look back down the hill towards the road and see hundreds of cars headed their way and everyone is holding a candle. They were all affected by the sentiment behind Paying it foreward.

the boy gets killed but at his funeral is everyone who was affected by his pay it forward plan, even the kids who stabbed him (and killed him). very emotional.
