I like to burn only 100% soy candles. They emit no soot or toxins so they are healthier to breathe & keep your home cleaner! I buy my online from Common Scents Gifts. They have a lot of wonderfully scented candles to choose from. There's no need for a real tree if you burn Christmas Tree. Blueberry Mufffin or Hot FudgeBrownie smells like you're actually baking. My favorite is Butt Naked...it's deceptively delightful!!

Yeah, Yankee Candles are widely available and strong smelling but too expensive and they smoke/smoulder. I don't buy them anymore. I know soy candles are supposed to be better, a clean burn, better for the air and environment, but I've not had good luck finding really strong smelling ones that are 100%.

The absolute strongest scented absolute powerhouse candles I've ever found are Tyler Candles, based in Texas. They are a soy blend I think 30% soy, 70% paraffin. You can order them online though and I mean they are STRONG, the strongest smelling candles I've ever had, and I've had a lot. You can smell them for days after burning them. The best prices are here:

If you want a Christmas candle, I recommend A Christmas Tradition. If you like food scents, I recommend Blueberry Blitz, Birthday Cake, Indulge or Pearberry. I personally prefer Tyler's unique scents you cannot find anywhere else, the florals, the spicy ones, the perfumey ones. My favorites are Paris (rose floral), 24K (fresh green/roses), Terrazo (masculine/earthy), Ira Jean (floral), French Market (floral), Chateau (lavender) and Elevate (fruity).

I've been searching for the same thing for years, and I've found that for really good all-through-the-house smell, you can't beat potpourri oil. You can buy a relatively inexpensive oil warmer at any store like Wal Mart or Target, and a bottle of scented potpourri oil. If it's the candle look you want, buy a similarly scented candle, light the oil as well, and get the best of both worlds.

I like Beanpod candles. They are soy so they dont smoke like others and they smell better. There was a recent report on candles that the kind with aluminum wicks can cause some diseases and these dont have it. I dont know if they sell online yet, but they are in many areas. My favourite is clean linen. :)

I like sugar cookies and passionate kisses. I buy online from www.wholesaleamericancandles.com. I love their candles and the sugar cookies and passionated kisses does fill my home with the scents.

The other thing that you may want to keep in mind is that some scents are naturally not strong scents like some floral scents.

I found this GREAT site online that sells 100% natural candles. It is www.retrobungalow.com. My friend told me about it and so I ordered one just to try it out - now I am a regular customer and spend about $50.00 a month, although it was higher this month because I bought a lot of their products for presents! I would recommend this to everyone!

I forgot to add that you don't even have to light them to smell them! One 3x6 fills up my downstairs!
Rice Flour & Shea Butter is one of my favorites!
