Good Question, I had an experience where the hair stood on my neck. We cremated my brother and passed his ashes into a river he loved. (Don't know if it was legal, the funeral guy who gave us the ashes thought it was ok), Anyway my two year old granddaughter was with us, she was playing in the grass as we scattered the ashes into the river. But as we turned and I picked her up to go, she suddenly turned around, looked at the river, smiled and and said bye-bye. Maybe they do!

Well, in my Cherokee culture, we do believe in the spiritual. Not "ghosts" as in the floaty white things you see in Hollywood movies, but more a spirit, a feeling, a being, a presence. It's kinda hard to describe, especially to someone who already doesn't want to listen.
A lot of the native cultures believe this, and some also often believe that we are ALL born with an "all-knowing" spirituality...like a 6th sense in a way. But that as time goes on and we're desensitized by society, most people lose this "sense".
So I do actually think that babies have a strong sense of spirituality. They're more in tune to the world around them than most people think. My 10 month old daughter constantly amazes me.

Well I believe that children can see ghost. I have an 4 yr old that sets up her play area for two not one. She can even sometimes say what he or she is wearing or there name. The reason why children are more acceptable to seeing ghost is the fact they believe in magic and Easter bunny ect, meaning there open to things more then we are.

I've heard that just like animals, children are more likely to see a ghost because of their innocence. I've also heard that when a child has a make believe friend that it is in fact a ghost and not made up at all.

I am a practicing psychic and medium and I come across many children and babies that see Spirit.
They are much closer to where we came from and aren't yet aware that not everyone sees them.
So yes, babies can see 'ghosts' - usually moreso 'spirits' though.
As we get more into to the earths transition to 'heaven on earth'
though, more and more babies, children and adults will start to see a lot more than we are presently aware of.

Not ghosts but spirits. Yes some can see spirits, I did too when I was small, mostly unusual children happen to see spirits. Don't believe much but encourage the matter in a way that shows them embarrassment that they are lying or not. they feel it as a presence, a feeling, something close-by. By the way its hard to pull infornmation out of them.

I don't know, but I would love to get inside one of those tiny minds and view the world as they see it, wouldn't you?
I know that my grandmother always insisted that babies, small children and most animals could see ghosts...

The younger the child the likely they can see ghost. They have not been taught that things are not real so their minds are not closed

Yes, I think so. When my sister lived in her old house, my nephew refused to sleep on his own. He'd wake up in the middle of the night absolutely terrified and pointing at the door. There'd be nothing there but he kept saying something about "scarey man" standing at the door. He talked about that man alot even though there were no men that lived in the house or ever came over to the house. It was just my sister and my nephew.
And thats not the first time I've heard of that. Not just from my family.

it depends. children are much more perceptive to ghosts and the paranormal than adults are because they believe more. sometimes invisible friends may actually be things that they see. i used to have a little scottie dog that followed me around. i would say that since babies don't really have very good eyesight anyway, that no they can't, but they can probably sense them more than you or i.
