Does being in water (hot or cold???) actually stop your period?? I have heard this but i don't know if it is true and i don't want to take chances....

Yes it does whileyou are in the water because of the water pressure you cant bleed but when you get out it will start again!

No it doesn't stop your period, if you want to have sex in the water your partner will not be the wiser, if you want to wear a swimsuit use a tampon. there is a neat product on the market though that is a cup u insert into your cervix, and it catches the flow before it ever even comes out.

Not sure. I've been in the bathtub and watched blood emerge, so it can't always be true. Of course that was warm water. Maybe cold water is different.

well when i swim i stop bleeding but i start bleeding about 10 mins after i get out of the water.

It wont stop your period, but you wont bleed while you are in the water...you will when you come back out of it though.

yes it does. i dont know why but it does. but as soon as you get out of the water it'll come back so be careful! hope this helps! :D

it just washes the blood away which gives the impression that you're not bleeding anymore
