Make your door look like a window. Use white tape for the window panes. On either side of the door, on the door, drape a white piece of cloth or sheet, gather it in the middle on both pieces and put a "drapery tie" made out of holly or pine on each. These should now look like tied-back drapes. You can staple the drapes to the door or use peel and stick velcro. Then make a wreath of your choice, I like greenery wreaths with lots of faux or real fruit, nuts and cinnamon sticks and hang in the "window." If you really want to kick it up a notch, put a winter scene or snow behind the window.

What are your hobbies/interests? At school one year, a teacher that loves the beach covered her door in brown craft paper and bows made of raffia and spelled out Happy Holidays in seashells that she glued on. She had other beach themed items on there as well.
Or you could go for a holiday countdown idea. Put a tree shaped picture on the door and add and ornament for each day untill the holiday.
Just remember to keep safety in mind. Don't use combustible greenery or plants with poisonous leaves or berries. Wouldn't be good office politics for the CEO's kid to go to the emergency room because of your efforts at holdiay cheer!

Take a new, clean, white tube sock. Fill the bottom with a round solid item - glass jar lids work well - fill the sock with rice -- decorate the newly created snowman. Make a scarf -- buttons -- use felt to decorate and create a hat -- maybe you could use your companys logo on the hat -- get creative -- these have been a huge hit every time we make them. Good luck -- you will need plenty of hot glue.

Hang a swag made of fresh christmas greens on your door. Decorate the swag with a big bow, string candy canes (like you string pop corn) the length of your door and hang it with the swag. The christmas greens will give out real pine scent and the candy canes can be individually picked as treats. You can also tape used/unwanted cd tapes in the form of a christmas tree on your door, or form it whatever form you want.

Everyone will be visiting you office...Get a green styrofoan circle, shaped like a wreath. Buy hershey kisses (christmas colors) and glue them to the wreath, covering it completely. Use fishing string or something strong to hang it on your door. It serves two purposes, something that looks and tastes good.

Cut a tree-shaped piece of cardboard. Paint green.
Cut out candle shapes from more card board, paint different colors.
Cut out flame shapes, paint yellow and white.
Put a name tag on each candle (names of the people in your office - don't forget your own!)
Print a banner for the base of the tree that says:
The TRUE lights of Christmas.

for something a little smaller/more traditional you could get a plain wreath and cover it with both bows/tinsel/etc and something sort of wacky or even something related to your work.
