Your guilt is bothering you, but you have tolive with it, you acted impulsively, how he feels i cannot say, but you surely owe him an apology, forgiveness comes after.

Lawyer up. You broke the law. Confess and make restitution to the court and to him. Spend some time volunteering in a domestic violence shelter so you can learn how serious what you did as. Then do the man a favor and divorce him.
And never ever use a fake report about abuse again. It's people like you that make it harder for womn who really are abused to get help.

You can do so many things when you are angry and once the "deed" is done or the angry words are out, you can never take it back. This would be the time to swallow your pride and call him or stop over. You need to sit down with him and talk it out. I assume here that he still cares about you. Better yet, drop him one of those beautiful apology cards.

Pray, seek counseling for yourself from a good Christian counselor to find the root of whatever would prompt you to do something of this magnitude, forgive yourself, seek legal representation, go come clean to the police, continuing praying for your marriage then go to your husband and accept whatever your future will be.

Why did you lie to the police... because you were angry at him I suspect. You could be charged for making faulse accusations... I think your husband deserves an explanation if not an apology
( depends on what he did to make you that mad).
Talk to him

You lied and get him arrested! what did you do that? You think he is bad, but compare to what you did...I think you are BADDER!!! So go apologised to him and confessed to the police and take the consequences of your action..that will show your sincerity.
