I would like to know what percentage of US Citizens oppose pre-marital sex, and what percentage of Christians opposed pre-marital sex? Of them, how many would oppose distribution of an HIV vaccine?

Thanks for everyone's opinion, but I'm actually looking for polling data.

Pre-marital sex is up to the individual. Some people never get married. If we ever come up with a vaccine for HIV I will be a huge supporter. That goes for any and all diseases and conditions.

You know what, I believe there is a vaccine out, but why put one out when the pharmecutical companies, the hospitals/hmo's, are making so much money with the medicine to temporarily slow it down than to cure it? And if it is offered, I bet it would cost you your soul to get. Take Magic Johnson for instance. I read in a magazine that he is "cured " of HIV... but if that is the case, he has the funds to buy his cure.. but not the common man. Insurance companies barely cover the costs of medicines let alone HIV medicine. But as far as pre marital sex is concerned, that will be an unresolved issue. Even with all the campains, the sex-ed, birth control, films and discussions about HIV and people with HIV, there are still numerous young people getting pregnant, let alone having unprotected and premarital sex and getting infected with stds. But another thing is too is that our society is more " looser" now compared to even less than 20 years ago. And there's more people co habiting rather than getting married so there's a lot of factors that play into that. But the best thing that hopefully that I can accomplish when my lil' girl gets older is to educate her that she really should wait until marriage and not to put fear in her heart with out her knowing why, because all that will do is cause her to rebel and to fuel her curiosity. As far as percentages go, I don't know how much of a percentage opposes it because there's Christians that have had pre marital sex, as well as being homosexual, so it's really awkward.

relies upon on the age. absolutely everyone decrease than sixteen, in my opinion, are way too youthful for intercourse. you're slightly making an income, if any in any respect, so if a undesirable being pregnant happens, the youngsters would be suffering. i'm not non secular, so i might desire to care much less if intercourse happens till now marriage. I do exactly not think of people could be beginning till now sixteen. i think of a few people take pre-marital intercourse way too a approaches. interior the non secular view, Adam and Eve weren't married. intercourse is organic, this is not a "sin."
