-How can you become a legal citizen?
-I dont think its its own country, so what country is it in?
-And what all is "legal" in Amsterdam?

yea someone coud just tell you like Ivan did but Ivan isn't the end all be all is he? How do you know he's right??

How hard is it to google your answers?? Quit being lazy and pick up a book and read. I'm in awe of people that don't know the Amsterdam is a CITY in the Netherlands. Ever heard of an Atlas??

I know more about Amsterdam than I can write here, so I won't write everything...

- You can become a legal citizen by living in the country for a while. To do that you must have a residence permit, which you can get either by marrying a Dutch or by working in Netherlands

- The Netherlands. You are absolutely right that Amsterdam is not a country

- Smoking pot and prostitution. I figured those were the answers that you were looking for.

I've been to Amsterdam twice. It is a city in the country The Netherlands, sometimes called Holland. The people of Holland are refered to as Dutch. Read what Ivan writes and keep in mind that Amsterdam is one of the few cities that truly has something for everyone.
