I read the previous answers. One name that was left out is Henrik Larsson. He's Swedish. He played for years for Celtic and was a superstar there. He's been at Barcelona the last couple years. He was just loaned to Man U on a 10 week loan deal. He's pretty much at the end of his career but he's still good. Another good player is Eidur Gudjohnsson. He's now with either Barcelona or Real Madrid, I can't remember which. He was a good scorer with Chelsea. He's Icelandic.

there are lots of famous soccer players around the world, some are already retired like Franz Beckbenbauer & Pele, some are young such as Lionel Andres Messi & Francesc 'Cesc' Fabregas & there are also those who passed away like George Best & Ferenc Puskas.
