An antibacterial will not kill fungus. I dont want to use harsh chemicals like Bleach, iodine will stain. What about vinegar?? I did a google search and one source said alcohol wouldnt kill fungus.

It will help, but not enough to really do you any good. You will get a feeling of false protection.
I used to have a kennel. I love the iodine based disinfectants. They work. They don't really stain things if you use them according to the directions on the container.
Cheaper, but more toxic is plain ole bleach, and tide laundry detergent.
cheaper still and very effective is isopropyl alcohol, straight out of the bottle, won't stain, evaporates to nothing and kills everything it touches. Including plants, so be careful of them if you are using this product as well as the bleach.
Non of these are toxic to animals, they won't go near the stuff, till it drys. The bleach and laundry detergent need to be rinsed off the enclosure where the animals are touching the surfaces. It will cause burns if you don't .

Not advisable really! i'd use a proper antibacterial cleaner! It is also an irritant tea-tree if used in large amounts! find an eco friendly cleaner if you have concerns! always use gloves if you have an allergy!
