Are they white spots, or big scars? If they are spots, some other nail tech already mentioned Leukenichia (sp). If you have white looking semi circular scars, you are going to the wrong nail tech when you get acrylics applied, they are overfiling and this can lead to real problems. General advice, never get your nails done at the Mall.

the little white spots on your nails-it's called leukonychia-technically absolutely nothing to worry about. they are like calcium deposits-they prob won't go away until they grow out, take some vitamins and stay healthy that's all its sayin-we all get it

You aren't getting all the calcium you need, you should take a vitamin (like those ones that are like chocolates or caramels) to stop it.
